Eric Kramer
My name is Eric Kramer, and although I firmly believe that I was born gay, I was also raised in a very conservative and small town in northwestern Ohio. One of the first things I remember learning about being gay was that it was not socially acceptable. Take my grade school days for example. There was one gay kid that I knew of (at the time) in our school. His name was Dennis and he was a year older than me. Dennis and I rode the same bus, and his mom babysat for my younger brothers. When I recall Dennis, the first thing that comes to mind isn’t how much he influenced me to accept my sexuality, rather the two times he got into big fights on our bus. I’m not talking about little scuffles, I’m talking knock down, kick ass fights that resulted in both parties getting bloody. He later transferred out of our school do to the ridicule he was facing for being openly gay.
I hid my sexuality throughout many of my formative years and even dated girls for quite a while. Skip forward and I am now a 30 year old partnered gay man. I am openly gay and very proud of it.
I run a website called EasyGayLife.com. The site deals with the everyday struggles among the LGBT community.
Sometimes it is ripped from the headlines and a lot of the time I write about my own personal experiences.

“I traded fame for love, without a second thought. It all became a silly a game, some things cannot be bought. I got exactly what I asked for, wanted it so badly. Running, rushing back for more, I suffered fools so gladly…”

I had the pleasure of spending the day today with one of my favorite clients. Due to the HIPPA laws I am going to change her name for the purpose of this post.
